Marine Cargo Underwriter

Job inhoud

Managing business in a cost-efficient manner in line with the underwriting guidelines and profitability targets set out by our Insurance Companies;
Assessing and underwriting of new business in accordance with your individual underwriting authority level;
Administering the individual policies and portfolio in our data system;
Day to day management of the policies: answering to the inquiries of our clients and brokers;
Monitoring premium payment and profitability of the individual policies and the portfolio;
Renewal of the individual policies and the portfolio;
Integrating within the underwriting team and liaising with internal clients and suppliers within Claims department, Finance or IT.
Developing strong relationships and networking with producing brokers and other professionals

- Strong proficiency with numbers and mathematical concepts for accurate data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic troubleshooting skills.
