Allianz is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Underwriter for our Marine division to strengthen our Underwriting Midcorp team. In this role, you will be part of a cohesive underwriting team, providing clear answers to brokers' inquiries about Marine insurance and contributing to the growth of our portfolio. You will draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts, analyze and respond to broker requests, and maintain regular contact with brokers to gather necessary information. Ensuring the quality of underwriting, both technically and in service delivery, is crucial. You will also support sustainable growth in the Marine sector by developing new business, broker agreements, and innovative terms and coverages. Building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients efficiently and effectively is key.
We are looking for a candidate fluent in both Dutch and English, with a higher education degree in insurance or a maritime background. You should have a deep understanding of the marine industry and relevant experience in the insurance sector. Being proactive, precise, and customer-focused is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A natural leadership potential is highly valued.
